Project Overview
Moving & Logistics | Rebrand + Multi-Year HubSpot Growth
A Residential Mover With No Digital Footing
The company came to us as a residential moving business operating under a legacy name it had carried for years. It moved households well, but almost none of that reputation existed online.
There was no digital-forward presence to speak of, no content bringing in search traffic, and no brand system that could carry the business into new markets. For a company that wanted to grow beyond word of mouth and repeat customers, that was the ceiling.
The engagement that followed ran for roughly five years and covered three connected efforts: a full rebrand, a new line of business stood up from nothing, and a content operation that compounded quietly in the background the whole time.
A Five-Year Build, Not a One-Off Project
Four phases of work, and the traffic curve they compounded into.
The Rebrand
The first decision was the biggest one. The company retired its legacy name and rebranded entirely under a new identity, and we led that work end to end.
Our team designed the new brand mark, built the visual system around it, and carried it across every surface the business touched, including the tape, boxes, vans, trucks, and more. The vehicle graphics we designed for the relaunch are still on the road today.
Most importantly, everything downstream depended on getting the identity right first. Site, content, and promotional materials all needed a consistent brand to build from, so the rebrand came before anything else.
The Commercial Division They Didn’t Have Yet
The residential business was established, but the commercial one didn’t exist.
Standing up a commercial moving division meant building its entire online presence from scratch. We built all of the online assets for the launch, giving the company a second line of business with its own presence rather than a footnote buried inside the residential site.
For a mover, residential and commercial buyers ask different questions and make decisions differently. A household planning a local move and a facilities manager relocating an office aren’t the same audience, and giving the commercial side its own dedicated presence let the company pursue that market as a real offering instead of an afterthought.
The Content Engine
Underneath the brand work, a content operation ran for years.
We produced the practical material a moving customer actually searches for: moving guides and checklists, the kind of content someone reads while planning a move and deciding who to trust with it.
Alongside that, we built conversion-focused content designed to turn that interest into inquiries, and local community and charity write-ups that reinforced the company’s presence in the areas it served.
None of it was flashy. It ran consistently for years, and the organic traffic reflected that.
The Growth
The clearest signal is the organic search data.
A Multi-Year Organic Climb
Monthly website sessions across a five-year engagement
At the start of the engagement, organic traffic was essentially at zero. Over the following years it climbed on a steady, close-to-linear line, reaching roughly 2,000 to 2,500 organic sessions a month by the later stretch of the engagement.
Across all channels combined, total monthly sessions peaked in the range of 3,500 to 4,000 at their high point, then settled into a 2,000 to 3,000 range, while organic alone kept rising.
The value is in the shape of the curve. This was compounding growth built on top of the rebrand and the content operation, sustained over multiple years rather than borrowed from a single campaign that spiked and faded.
