Every now and again I like to check in with the Wire audience. I can (thanks to HubSpot đŸ˜‰) see great newsletter data like open rates, clicks, bounces, etc. What I can’t see is emotion and sentiment.

 

The data absolutely tells a story, but it doesn’t talk to me like you can! So I’d love to hear from you—what are you enjoying? What would you like to see more of? What topics are you most interested in reading about? And so on.

“As generative AI continues to become a larger part of the marketing industry, CMOs views on the technology have shifted. Since 2023, the majority of CMOs have expressed optimism in the technology, with those holding this sentiment jumping nine points from 74% in 2023 to 83% in 2025. During the same period, feelings of anxiety and worry regarding generative AI dropped 23 points from 46% to 23%. Outright rejection of the technology has dropped to single digits, or 8%.”

HubSpot just announced an interesting new feature—a deep research connector that links ChatGPT directly to your HubSpot CRM data. As a team that works exclusively on the HubSpot platform, we wanted to break down what this actually means and how it might help your business.

 

What the Connector Actually Does

The integration allows you to ask ChatGPT questions about your HubSpot data using natural language.

 

Instead of navigating through HubSpot’s interface to find information, you can simply type questions like “Which contacts converted fastest in the last 90 days?” or “Show me accounts at highest churn risk based on support tickets.”

 

Here’s how it works:

• Available to HubSpot customers with a paid ChatGPT plan (requirements vary by region)

• Respects your existing HubSpot permissions—you can only access data you’re authorized to see

• Currently limited to the web version of ChatGPT

• HubSpot data isn’t used for AI training in ChatGPT
