June is here already! Welcome back to The Hypha Wire.
Every now and again I like to check in with the Wire audience. I can (thanks to HubSpot đ) see great newsletter data like open rates, clicks, bounces, etc. What I canât see is emotion and sentiment.
The data absolutely tells a story, but it doesnât talk to me like you can! So Iâd love to hear from youâwhat are you enjoying? What would you like to see more of? What topics are you most interested in reading about? And so on.
I craft every edition with love, and Itâs important to me that the content resonates. Please reply to this newsletter, or send me a personal email (slevene@hyphadev.io) with any thoughts, ideas or feedback for The Hypha Wire. Myself and your fellow readers thank you.

Content Marketing: The Human Touch in a Digital World
By Phil Stott, Head of Client Success, Hypha HubSpot Development
In a world of algorithms and automated content, genuine human storytelling remains our most powerful marketing tool. Content marketing isnât just about filling pagesâitâs about creating real connections that matter.
Why Human Stories Still Win
Machines can generate text, but they canât capture the nuanced emotions, personal experiences, and authentic insights that make content truly compelling. Real writing breathes. It surprises. It connects.
The Numbers Tell a Story
Nearly half of buyers research online before purchasing
Decision-makers value in-depth, thoughtful content
Blogs drive significant lead generation
Authentic content builds lasting brand trust
Beyond the Algorithm
Smart marketers view AI as a tool, not a replacement. It can help with:
Quick research
Initial draft structures
Identifying potential topics
Basic editing support
The Real Competitive Advantage
Successful content marketing has always been about:
Understanding your audienceâs actual needs
Sharing hard-earned insights
Telling stories that spark genuine interest
Solving real problems with real solutions
Humans: Still Undefeated
Technology evolves, but human creativity remains irreplaceable. The most powerful content comes from lived experience, deep industry knowledge, and the ability to truly empathize with your audience.
Businesses that invest in crafting thoughtful, original content will continue to stand out. Theyâll build trust, demonstrate expertise, and create meaningful connections that no algorithm can replicate.
The future of marketing isnât about choosing between human creativity and technological tools. Itâs about using technology to amplify uniquely human storytelling.
We focus so much on our web presence that sometimes itâs easy to forget that our websites arenât the only places we can be discovered online. Google Business Profiles are very important; they help legitimize your business, give customers the opportunity to leave reviews and even book appointments.
âGenerally, approach your Google Business Profile like your website or even your storefront: itâs an asset that can help introduce and connect you with customers and potential customers.â
Industry uptick in interest of AI from CMOs specifically. The data underscores the âif youâre not using AI youâll fall behindâ sentiment thatâs shared by many.
âAs generative AI continues to become a larger part of the marketing industry, CMOs views on the technology have shifted. Since 2023, the majority of CMOs have expressed optimism in the technology, with those holding this sentiment jumping nine points from 74% in 2023 to 83% in 2025. During the same period, feelings of anxiety and worry regarding generative AI dropped 23 points from 46% to 23%. Outright rejection of the technology has dropped to single digits, or 8%.â
Hypha Highlights
Whether youâre a small business owner without a dedicated customer service team or an enterprise company with a multi-person department, delivering exceptional support throughout the customer lifecycle is a big job.
Itâs especially overwhelming in todayâs fast-paced society, where consumers expect instantaneous solutions and 24/7 support services through phone, email, text, and online chat. The proliferation of artificial intelligence (AI) has only added to this.
And keeping consumers happy mattersä¸a lot. You canât afford to let a bad customer service experience sour your once-loyal customers, either.
In this challenging landscape, HubSpotâs Service Hub has emerged as a quality solution: It helps businesses optimize customer service and support efforts, ensuring seamless integration of various communication channels and data management.

AI in Action
News, updates and tools from the AI industry.
HubSpot just announced an interesting new featureâa deep research connector that links ChatGPT directly to your HubSpot CRM data. As a team that works exclusively on the HubSpot platform, we wanted to break down what this actually means and how it might help your business.
What the Connector Actually Does
The integration allows you to ask ChatGPT questions about your HubSpot data using natural language.
Instead of navigating through HubSpotâs interface to find information, you can simply type questions like âWhich contacts converted fastest in the last 90 days?â or âShow me accounts at highest churn risk based on support tickets.â
Hereâs how it works:
⢠Available to HubSpot customers with a paid ChatGPT plan (requirements vary by region)
⢠Respects your existing HubSpot permissionsâyou can only access data youâre authorized to see
⢠Currently limited to the web version of ChatGPT
⢠HubSpot data isnât used for AI training in ChatGPT
âSpotify has morphed from a straightforward music library and search engine into a data-driven system built to feed you songs to match your mood and optimize your time on the platform. In this episode, Morgan is joined by music journalist and author Liz Pelly to break down how Spotify built its playlist empire, the rise of so-called âghost artistsâ on the platform, and how its algorithmic approach is changing our relationship to music, artists, and the culture around them. Plus, Morgan tries to solve a personal mystery: âAm I being haunted by Sabrina Carpenter?ââ
